win awards for top results in Cambridge
examinations
Four learners from St. Constantine’s
International School have won prestigious awards from
University of Cambridge International
Examinations
(CIE) in recognition of their top performance in the
June and November 2009 Cambridge examination sessions.
CIE’s annual Cambridge Outstanding
Achiever Awards programme celebrates success in IGCSE
and GCE AS/A Level examinations. Learners in over 150
countries enter Cambridge examinations each year.
The
following learners at St. Constantine’s International
School received Top in the World and Top in Tanzania
awards:

Zita Kamwendo – GCE AS Level Business
Studies
Ranaf Makhani – GCE AS Level Economics
Jimmy Masaua - GCE AS Level Geography
The Chairman of the Hellenic Society of
Tanganyika
Mr. Dimitri Mantheakis said that the awards recognised
the commitment of both learners and staff. He was
especially impressed with Happiness Watimanywa who was
Top in the world for IGCSE Accounting. He pledged a
$1000 reward for the Highest Achiever and encouraged
other students to work towards similar achievement. The
learners received their Cambridge Outstanding Achiever
Awards at a school ceremony on 12th
June 2010. |
